5.0 out of 5 stars. These are great socksReviewed by Susan R from Pennsylvania on Tuesday, February 25, 2014I wanted a thinner sock that I could wear dress shoes with and these work very well. I also appreciated the seamless toe and the snug fit. Very nice sock.... and considering the price, great socks!!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars. good as liners, maybe for dressVerified Buyer Reviewed by bk from New York on Saturday, January 12, 2013so far have only used them as liners under heavier socks; performed very well; very tight weave and so were soft on my feet

3.0 out of 5 stars. Pretty standard issueVerified Buyer Reviewed by Hollysea from Waterford, CT on Saturday, January 5, 2013Bought these for my husband. They were too late in arriving for Christmas giving; the order took more than 7 days to arrive, which was disappointing.
They're a short, above the ankle length wool sock. Appear to be of good quality, but nothing exciting about them otherwise. They'll keep his feet warm, and that should be good enough. Appear to be a quality alternative to the crummy bamboo and mixed blend socks so commonly offered in stores. -
3.0 out of 5 stars. Not enthusedReviewed by Eddie from Sarasota, FL on Friday, December 21, 2012I like every Icebreaker product I have bought in the past. I bought these as an afterthought along with other purchases and I'm not so enthused about them.
The are fairly thin and an open weave. Probably very breathable. After my first day of wearing them with dress shoes there was noticeable pilling on the achilles area where the edge of the shoe upper rubbed the sock. I will not be surprised if they get holed without much use.
They were quite tight on my leg at the top of the sock. Avoid if you worry about cutting off circulation.
The full Icebreaker display packaging is probably deemed essential marketing when you're selling expensive socks in a shop, but it's wasteful of resources and at odds with the brand image. -
