5.0 out of 5 stars. Great looking fliesVerified Buyer Reviewed by Billy Smooth from Michigan on Friday, July 17, 2015I have been tying for about forty years and this pattern has always eluded me. I just can't get the proportions correct thus resulting in a poorly tyed fly. Best thing is l can afford to buy all the flies I want. These humpies are very well tied with all proportions correct and the price is right.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Cool Little FliesVerified Buyer Reviewed by P from Michigan on Thursday, February 5, 2015Well tied fly and I love the bright colored belly. I have not fished with it yet but I am excited to take it out this spring. The quality is good and for this price you can't beat it.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Nicely tied fliesReviewed by OllieDad from Utah on Wednesday, October 9, 2013Great looking flies - the yellow Humpy is my go-to dry fly as an attractor pattern, but they're somewhat picky to tie. I'm happy to get some nicely tied versions at a nice discount. Note that every fly has a small plastic tag on the hook that can be a bit of a hassle to remove over the barb.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Versatile Fly, well tied.Reviewed by The man with no name from At large on Friday, March 8, 2013This is a great imitation of the NEW ZEALAND green beetle and a fair one for the willow worm. (Sizes 14-18). On USA waters it might be taken as
immature hoppers. It is general behind the yellow humpy for that purpose. -
2.0 out of 5 stars. proportions offVerified Buyer Reviewed by moucheur from New England on Thursday, February 7, 2013Quality inconsistent, wings are generally too short, shellback not consistently sized or centered, some of the flies are off balance

5.0 out of 5 stars. Finally the NZ blowfly is availableVerified Buyer Reviewed by rxflyfisher from Delaware/Maryland/New Mexico on Monday, January 14, 2013I was introduced to this fly in NZ nearly 10 years ago. It was the go-to fly of the day and I caught numerous brown trout over 5 lbs in fishing the South Island. When I came back to the USA, I could not find this fly or the material to tie it anywhere so I asked the NZ guide to send me 3 dozen of them. I have used them extensively and they always catch fish...not sure exactly why, but you should definitely have some in your box.
