I am very happy w/ this purchase. It is well made and was a very good value from Sierra. I also think that the sizes are "true". I ordered a large and the fit is perfect.

  • 2.0 out of 5 stars. Too flowy

Just way too big for me. Not that it is a bad shirt but the XL was too flowy for what I thought was a shirt for workingout. Maybe OK for a thicker XL. I am a tall XL.
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Marmot Rules!

I've started purchasing more Marmot clothing this year and couldn't be more satisfied! The shirt is true to fit and very comfortable with the expected performance from a quality brand. I plan on snagging up more Marmot shirts of this quality at STP pricing!

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Perfect warmup layer

I'm 6'3", 175lbs and long arms. Medium fits perfectly. This is like my fifth Marmot piece. Silky with slight resistance to snagging, looks like it will wash and hold up very well. Excellent seams, breathability is **perfect**. Zero regrets. One note: I bought the black w/red trim, and the trim was more extensive than the picture depicted; also the silver trim at the arms was actually near the bicep/tricep. Still looks cool.
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Silky Soft Layer

A great fitting, suuuuuper comfy base layer. I wear this on colder cycling days under one of my many Marmot outer layers like
    my Driclime jacket or vest
Temperature/sweat control starts with a great base layer, and this, or the short sleeve version which I also have, are excellent.

About Marmot

Conceived in a university dorm room by a pair of climbing buddies, Marmot Mountain Works first opened its doors in the spring of 1974 in Grand Junction, Colorado. At the time, the base of operations was a 100-year-old stone building. That same year, the first Marmot down jacket was produced specifically for an action flick called “The Eiger Sanction,” starring legendary actor Clint Eastwood. In the four decades since, Marmot has continued to engineer reliable gear that exceeds the expectations of outdoor athletes. Today, Marmot tents, backpacks, outerwear, clothing and Marmot sleeping bags are still pushing the limits in the planet’s most challenging conditions, from the summits of the world’s highest mountains to the deepest river basins.
