4.0 out of 5 stars. Decent Trekking Pole Good PriceVerified Buyer Reviewed by ECLabyrinthLady from NC on Monday, November 11, 2019I have bought this brand before and the same thing happened this time, even though I was being very careful. The lower extender doesn't stay tightened very well. I didn't over extend it and was very careful to only extend it to the height I needed but it gave way twice when I was on my hike today. Not a good experience at my age when I'm walking down a steep path. Also, the cap covering the spike end came completely off the pole as i was walking and I lost it. I didn't realize it would unscrew, but it must have caught on a rock or something. My fault, but a bummer that it happened the first time I used it. Otherwise it's sturdy enough and a good bright color.
