I was very exited to get it as the reviews were all great and the fit in the picture was what I was looking for. I am 6'2", 180 lbs and more fit than the model pictured and this thing fits me like a tent (size L). The cuffs are baggy, sleeves are long (down to the knuckles), and the waist looks like it would fit someone with a 36+ inch waist. They must have pinned the extra material behind the model for the picture. I'm not sure how these cuffs are considered stay put if they don't actually fit. This would have received only one star if it weren't for the fact that it is incredibly warm sitting in my Villa with the AC on 18. SmartWool redesigned this for 2011 and I think they need to go back to the drawing board.

With a fleece top over it, I am as warm as I need to be. The merino wool makes all the difference! And it is quite comfortable against the skin. I also like not having the thumb holes, as the material doesn't bunch up at the wrists. I love the colors and it just looks good combined with the right shirt or top. The sizing is a bit small. I"m 6'2" and about 185, with about 42" chest and the XL fits great!. Thanks STP for a most excellent price and service as well. I'll be looking to add more excellent SmartWool products!

very warm for the weight as the fabric is quite thin. sleeves are long so can be pulled over hands, but sleeve cuffs are snug and will stay above the wrists.
only con is can be slightly itchy at times but that should be expected from a wool shirt.

The material and style is great. It has a long zipper in front that allows better venting for changing temps and conditions. I use the zipper all the time on trail runs as it goes all the way down to bottom of my sternum, and really allows better control of body temp.
I am ordering a second shirt (L), as the XL is a bit too roomy in the waist and arms. I roll the dice on sizing, as I am 5'9", 200lbs. If I lose 5 lbs. more, it will be too baggy. The XL is a bit long in the sleeves and torso length, but then I'm not tall. -
