4.0 out of 5 stars. These are super spongyReviewed by Wanderer from WA on Monday, January 14, 2019The blend of natural and synthetic fibers seems to be the best of both worlds. These provide a dense, springy layer of cushioning, wicking, and warmth. The sole feels nice and thick.
The WoolFusion Summit sock that lost one star do to absolute lack of elastic support. They wil fall all the way down to your ankles if not held up by a pair of boots or calf compression sleeves.
Despite that flaw, these socks are still worth the price due to the plush cushioning they provide. -
2.0 out of 5 stars. Wrong sizeVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from North Carolina on Wednesday, January 2, 2019I ordered a size large and was sent an XL. Now I’m still waiting to hear back from customer service.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great to see these again!Verified Buyer Reviewed by pat from Colorado on Wednesday, December 19, 2018Bridgedale Summits were made in Ireland around when I first bought them in '09, and didn't develop rubbed toe holes until '18. They were made with predominantly wool and stretch material, which are now less wool (although still a lot) plus 3 other yarns in South Africa. Not as sturdy and bulky but still nice warmish socks. Bought these in black a year ago and one pair sprang a hole on top after 2 washings. Not the same as my old friends, but still a very good buy on sale, and will buy them again when available.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Hard-to-Kill Socks!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Kodiak Island, Alaska on Monday, October 22, 2018I've been wearing Bridgedale Summit socks for many years. This is the third installment in about 18 years--they last around six years if you treat them decently. I buy six pairs each time and wear them over a pair of cotton socks (wool makes me itch). However, since I've worn wool socks, I no longer have smelly feet. The thick socks act as a ventilator around the cotton socks, wicking moisture away, and by my feet moving in my boots, air moves around my feet. They're warm in winter and cool in summer. The Summit socks wear like steel. Once holes start forming, I know it's time to retire the current set and replace them. I've certainly gotten my money out of them.
