1.0 out of 5 stars. Skimpy junkReviewed by Anonymous from NC on Saturday, July 9, 2016These pants are cut small, have tiny pockets, and are made of thin, fabric. Altogether, they are useless for outdoor wear.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Dengue mosquito protectionVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Costa Rica on Thursday, October 8, 2015Costa Rica tropics at beach, over 5 variety of mosquitos, these pants prevented any bites plus my Columbia insect blocker shirt, amazing, only one bite leaving shower and jumping back into the safety of my clothes. Dengue is a big problem blemish here, I'm a O blood type, so most desired by the female mosquito. Thank you Columbia!!! John K.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Comfortable PantsReviewed by Zavala D from Kansas on Monday, May 27, 2013The pants fit very well, they have a slimmer fit than other hiking pants. I wish the cargo pocket was deeper, but that's not a significant problem. They are very comfortable and the ankle drawstrings are an excellent addition.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Seem to work greatReviewed by Stephen from Florida on Monday, May 20, 2013These keep my legs relatively cool in the hot/humid Florida weather, and I've yet to have an insect problem while wearing them, so I'd say these work just about as advertised. Order them a tiny bit larger than you usually do for pants, I'm usually 32/30 and I ordered 32/32 and they fit perfectly.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great product from ColumbiaVerified Buyer Reviewed by Traveler from Colorado on Friday, February 22, 2013I bought these to take on a trip to South East Asia where it is hot and sticky but also where there are mosquitos and other bugs. These are really light and breathable and I had no problem with insects when I wore them. I love columbia products...my wife had a pair also in the womens model and wore them alot...I usually wear a 30" inseam but they were out of stock so ordered a 32" and had them shortend. I am glad I did as a 30" inseam would have been about an inch to short...there are draw cords at the bottom of each leg to keep the bugs out so shortening them is pricy and a little complicated. I had the seamstress remove mine as I was pressed for time ant they did not have time to re install my draw cords. The only other comment is that they are a little on the slim side. Still love them though...
