5.0 out of 5 stars. You want this jacket

Just browsing around and saw that this OR piece is being offered at a CRAZY discount.
This jacket is well worth the full retail price, especially with the OR lifetime guarantee. With the STP discount? It's a no-brainer.
I've had mind for over a year and it's the best puffy I've ever owned. Slim fit, functional and warm as both an outer and mid layer. HUGE interior pockets, perfect fitting hood and nice hand warmer pockets. Know that because it's lightweight this isn't the piece to wear when you're bushwacking but the durability has been great for me so far. It's what I wear backpacking and hiking which means Tenacious Tape is part of the equation. But if someone is just looking for something to wear around town this is also a great choice.
I will say that at 6" 185 pounds the Medium fit me better than the Large I wear in most everything. Arms are long enough and it's a more low profile fit through the waist which is what I wanted as a mid layer.
GREAT jacket at a ridiculously great STP price.

It's a beautiful jacket, the green is very cool. The only problem you have is the size, you must ask for a larger size if you are robust. I bought a jacket size xl and not fit me.

Well made and way warm. I'm 5'8" 160lbs and the medium fits me perfectly. My size medium shell jackets fit nicely over this too.

About Outdoor Research

The concept for Outdoor Research was devised in 1981 when climber Ron Gregg’s planned ascent of Denali was cut short, ending prematurely with his frostbitten partner being airlifted off a glacier. The cause was a faulty pair of gaiters. During his descent, Gregg resolved himself to create better gear, a resolution that soon led him to build the first pair of award-winning Outdoor Research gaiters. The concept was simple: Make outdoor apparel and gear with a clear focus on reliability. In the many years since, this brand has continued to blaze new trails with cutting-edge products that now include Outdoor Research gloves, jackets, backpacks and Outdoor Research hats, all engineered to exceed expectations in the most demanding conditions on the planet.
