2.0 out of 5 stars. Too looseReviewed by riverhawk from iowa on Wednesday, June 5, 2019Pros:
- Made in USA
- Soft cotton
Cons:
- As others mentioned, they have no elastic support and are way too loose around your foot. Fall down to your ankle.
- Okay I guess if just wearing around the house.
- Would not buy again. -

1.0 out of 5 stars. DO NOT BUY THESEReviewed by Amateaur Hiker from Canada on Monday, May 20, 2019They look like they're worth it, but are not. The 'thick' wool is misleading. I pulled it out of packaging thinking these will be great for our winter hike - they were terribly thin and itched SO MUCH. My bf's heel actually started chafing bc of these. They're too cheap for me to return, so just warning you all - do. not. do. it.

1.0 out of 5 stars. very poorly madeVerified Buyer Reviewed by scubaduck from California on Tuesday, May 7, 2019I've had this type of socks before, so I know what they're _supposed_ to be like.
These were either made with the wrong tension on the stitches and/or missing the elastic that makes them actual SOCKS.
Instead they are either loose baggy material sort of, but unreliably encasing the feet, ankles and calves.
OR
absurdly tight until one stretches them to the breaking point by hand.
I've had good luck in the past with Sierra's Seconds... I guess the gamble just didn't pay off this time.
oh well. -
2.0 out of 5 stars. not a fanVerified Buyer Reviewed by kyle from Colorado on Friday, March 29, 2019These socks do not hold shape and consistently fall down my calf and bunch up around my ankle.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Thick, comfy, durable, slouchyVerified Buyer Reviewed by Nanook of the Northwest from Western Washington on Thursday, March 21, 2019These are the traditional marled ragg socks I was looking for. They're thick and comfortable, great for wearing around home to keep my feet warm, come in a wide range of colors (I bought 2 different packs, so 6 colors to suit my moods), durable and slouchy. These are not socks that have a ton of elastic in them to hold them up -- they will slouch down some, which was just what I wanted. Sizing is generous.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Love these classics!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Guide's Wife from E WA on Sunday, March 17, 2019So I hate socks that are too tight and leave marks from the elastic gripping my leg. These rag socks are soft and gently grip my leg leaving no marks or contricting my circulation. They are part wool, but do not scratch or itch. I absolutely love them, and will order more as they are hard to find....the price is right, too.
