Poorly designedReviewed by Folke Palm from Massachusetts on Thursday, January 29, 2015The price was right but the first time I used them the liner came out and would not go back in correctly. The gloves also make a strange sound when using them like they are lined with plastic inside. I would have returned them but I got them dirty.

The real perk is that they have leather palms which hold up much better than the polymer ones found on most gloves. I highly recommend these to anyone working in 0 to 40 degree weather. They don't perform all that well in below 0 degree weather but most gloves don't.

Really don't feel these live up to their description.Reviewed by Tanner's Dad from Ohio on Friday, December 13, 2013I am a utility worker and tend to spend a good amount of time outdoors working. I purchased 2 pairs of these gloves and unfortunately have been very disappointed. Work gloves should be designed and able to stand up to moderate amounts of manual labor. These do not fit the bill. The seams started to fray after 3 days and the "tough cotton duck" had a hole start after less than a week. The insulation and waterproofing are nice but useless if packaged in an inferior shell. If I had the option to do it all over, I would definitely try to find better gloves for physical work.

XL fit well and were warm. But when I worked in them they quickly sweat up. They then would get clammy and cold and proved very difficult to dry out. Also, manual dexterity in these gloves is not good. Fine if you want to shoivel snow. Not good if you are trying to open a multi-tool to cut twine on bales of hay. I've given up on them. My wife is going to try and dry them out with a hair dryer. I'm not hopeful.
