5.0 out of 5 stars. Good beat around gloves

Like these for all sorts of cool weather activities where I don't want to use my expensive climbing / backcountry gloves. Grip is good due to rubber like palm and finger reinforcements. Durable, have used them as ski liners, collecting firewood, gardening, driving, punching friend, and more. Fit is nice and snug for my 9.5 inch hands in size Large.

  • 2.0 out of 5 stars. Stylish, but not the best for minimalist running.

I like the features of this glove, but the L/XL fit more like a M/L. The fingers were short. I couldn't justify keeping them, even at STP's sale price. So I sent them back, and I'm buying a pair of gardening gloves, and a pair of mechanix gloves instead.

About Carhartt

If you're looking for durable, comfortable clothing and outerwear, few other brands can compete with Carhartt. Although the venerable Carhartt clothing company has become one of the most respected names in American work wear today, the brand comes from humble roots. Founded in 1889, the family-owned business started out in Detroit, Michigan with just two sewing machines and five employees. During The First World War, the company made uniforms for the US military and also manufactured work clothing for the Navy during WWII. Today, Carhartt clothing is still known for robust fabrics, top-notch construction and a great fit. From rugged Carhartt jackets and coveralls to jeans and shirts, this is one brand you can trust to deliver the real deal -- every time.
