5.0 out of 5 stars. Nice glovesVerified Buyer Reviewed by M La from Nevada on Saturday, October 24, 2015True to size. Not built for warmth, but they do have impact padding in the palms.
Might be tight if you have thick fingers, but probably will be great after a break-in period and some water. -
4.0 out of 5 stars. Great work GlovesVerified Buyer Reviewed by Rick from Minnesota on Saturday, September 26, 2015Typical Carhartt quality. Fit well, spandex like backing is quite comfortable and breaths well. Only complaint is that the padding in the palms makes it had to get a good grip on handled tools such as an axe or shovel. I would give 5 stars if there was no padding. I would still buy again.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Sturdier than I Thought They'd BeVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from St. Louis on Sunday, August 9, 2015These are first rate gloves. The palms and fingers are thicker than I expected and should last a long time. The breathable backs make them good for hot weather use.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great around the house work glovesVerified Buyer Reviewed by Happy Hiker from Bay Area, CA on Thursday, April 2, 2015Not for working outside. But great for handling tools and working around the house. Very tactile. I don't know how useful the terry cloth above the thumb feature is b/c the gloves are not washable.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Absolutely LOVE these gloves!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Lisa from CT on Tuesday, March 24, 2015I am a woman with medium sized hands and ordered the men's small. These gloves are great, padded across the palm for carrying water buckets to the horses and such, but with dexterity left in the fingers for buckling straps, etc. I don't have to take my gloves on and off anymore!

4.0 out of 5 stars. Second pair - if first pair wears out eventuallyVerified Buyer Reviewed by FlyFisher1 from Bend, OR on Monday, March 23, 2015Liked these so well for yard and other work that I ordered another as a back up. These gloves are comfortable and durable while allowing a functional level of flexibility. I use them for wood splitting and general yard work. Raking out thatch in the spring usually results in blisters, but not with these well designed and made gloves. Carhartt has a well deserved reputation for quality.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great FitVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Maine on Monday, March 9, 2015Most gloves do not fit the majority of people's hands, especially between the thumb and index finger or in finger length. These gloves, however, seem to be engineered by some folks that actually measure peoples hands. Great fit! I use them for working out. They are flexible and have good gripping surface. Not the type of glove you want for outdoor cold weather work.
