Hardy products have always been among the best. The Sintrix Jet Switch Rod, fits in that mold as expected.
Haven't used in hand to fin combat yet, but getting close!
One can rarely, if ever, go wrong with Hardy rods (and reels!).

I bought this product to use out of a float tube or a pontoon boat as the additional length would increase casting distance and make casting a sinking line a little more efficient. to this point i am very happy with the casting and distance from a sitting position. i recommended this rod to a fishing buddy who also has found it useful from a sitting position

About Hardy

The story behind Hardy fishing rods and reels began in the early 1870s, when William Hardy and his brother started a gunsmithing business in Alnwick, Northumberland. Although they made a good living in northern England producing high-quality firearms, it wasn’t long before the brothers’ passion for fishing precipitated a change of direction for the company, and Hardy rods and reels were the result. Hardy was the first tackle company to build and market hexagonal bamboo rods and also introduced the first large-arbor reels in 1911. Hardy fishing gear, rods, reels and bags are simply some of the best.
