Schott NYC Shawl Collar Cardigan Sweater, Men'sVerified Buyer Reviewed by redeyehawk from New Hampshire on Wednesday, January 2, 2019Robust sweater, well designed and in XL fit me (6' 178#) the way I like, with a little extra room. Had a strong wool odor, said dry clean or hand wash, so I put the washer on Delicate/Hand wash and washed it with Woolite. Used a tad over half the Woolite recommended for that size load, (our appliance guy says never use the full unit they tell you to). The sweater tightened up like one of those boiled wool jackets, and of course was too snug on me. Also, it was covered with wool lint in half-inch sized fuzzies. I picked off two fistfulls. At that stage it would be suitable for a M or Large sized person to do yard work in, because it still smelled very strong of wool. What's with that? I have another wool sweater, no smell at all. Most of life is experiments, right? Trotted it off to the donation box, somebody will wear it. I couldn't get past the odor.
