Well I did not realize they were still toed
I wear them an entire day they were comfortable
I didn't notice the steel toe at all
But I love the brand Keen and have always had good luck with that brand
They have a nice stretchy shoelace that's on plus an extra shoelace for when that stretchy stops working or you choose not to use the stretchy shoelace
overall I'm pleased with the shoe
Nice wide toe toes are not crumpled up very happy joining me now and Democratic congressman from Colorado

Bought these on sale, even though I suspected that the footbed liner was not removable. To my surprise and pleasure it is, which means I can keep them. I have funky, wide feet and need a corrective orthotic. These shoes are wide enough and the heel deep enough to accommodate them comfortably. For such a rigid, sturdy shoe they are very comfortable. I have to wear shoes during every waking hour and these have become my new “indoor” shoes. The sole is very thick and absorbs impact well. I don’t really need the steel toe, but because I have a slightly dropped foot, these will probably water better than most.

A little clunky, but flexible enough! I imagine this work shoe-type thing has to be clunky to be sturdy enough ~ protect my toes from what i drop and carts rolling into my feet on my job at Home Depot. They look pretty ok too!

About Keen

Keen shoes have been helping feet find adventure since 2003, and it all began with the signature KEEN.PROTECT toe bumper. It might seem strange to build a footwear company around a feature, but that iconic toe bumper is more than just a style add-on. It’s what allows Keen sandals to hit the trails and provide the best toe protection possible. In fact, Keen was one of the first footwear companies to make closed-toed hiking sandals. Over the years, the product selection has continued to grow and now includes Keen hiking boots, trail shoes, cycling shoes, socks, clothing and bags. The brand is also actively involved in land and water conservation projects in the US, Canada, Europe and Japan.
