For me, they were tight in the knees, but a larger size would have been too big in the waist. I do have a proportionally small waist, so that may not be a problem for others.

I normally wear a large or 12-14. Had to order XL otherwise they are SKIN tight. Have ordered other Terramar items, they too run small. Order a size up and you won't have any problems.
