Closeouts. La Sportiva's Quasar hard shell jacket provides bomber protection from the elements while remaining comfortably breathable to ensure you don't overheat, too. It's fortified with a Gore-Tex® Active Shell membrane, sealed seams, a YKK® Vislon® watertight zipper and drawcords at the top and bottom to seal out the cold.

The material is IMO a bit thin for a jacket advertised as a Hard Shell, it's not much thicker than my lighweight rain jackets. I'm 6'3" and ~190lbs. My shoulders are not particularly broad but the jacket felt tight in the shoulders. The interior chest pocket is a mesh pouch with no zipper and is a bit tricky to easily access one-handed (the opening is a bit high up). I was disappointing to see there were no cuff cinches. Nice jacket but not exactly what I envisioned when I ordered online. I ended up returning.
