1.0 out of 5 stars. Brittle Leather After Water ExposureReviewed by SavvyStyleLady from Northern Nevada on Sunday, August 4, 2019Riding is exactly what I use mine for. They’re great and because of the stretch panels, the fit around the calf in a way that allows for comfortable flexing and movement of my legs.
They are not built to last; the sole began to separate from the shoe leather, creating a large hole on the boot where the two meet. I went to a shoe repair shop and was told that it’s be $35 to repair and I’d lose some of the boot width in the foot area. When the leather becomes wet or muddy, it becomes brittle. Waterproof? Not for long. -
5.0 out of 5 stars. style and comfortVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Missouri on Wednesday, March 6, 2019I have worn these boots about 5 times in short increments to be sure they were comfortable for the longer days. They are super comfy. I wear an 8.5 and they are sized well for me with a bit of extra room for heavier socks. The boot material is a weathered look and shows marks and scuffs but that seems to add to the style. They are wide calf style but fit snug on my average sized calves. They would fit a larger leg too because of the material in the back that is stretch. I wish they came in black too.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Very nice bootsVerified Buyer Reviewed by Kirpiggy from Utah on Friday, February 15, 2019I love that these boots are waterproof. There is nice support in the footbed, and the flexible, stretchy gore (dark brown portion) makes them more comfortable on the calf. The only reason I didn't give them a 5 is that even with the gore, they are snug around the biggest part of my calf, even though the box said "wide calf." I've never considered my calves to be wide, but they are muscular. I have another pair of wide calf boots that have at least an inch of extra space in the calf area, so I was surprised how snugly these fit in the calf. They're not so snug as to be uncomfortable, but slightly tighter than I'd ultimately prefer. The footbed is amazingly comfortable, and the lug sole is perfect for winter.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Look at the alternate views of stretchy backReviewed by KP from washington on Wednesday, February 13, 2019I was going to pass but I once I saw the brown gusset in the alternate view I ordered. That detail makes them more interesting.

5.0 out of 5 stars. I love these!!Reviewed by Darla from Raleigh, NC on Tuesday, February 5, 2019These are the most comfortable boots i've ever worn! I didn't even need to size up to accommodate thin wool socks! I have wide calves, measuring 15.25 inches and i was able to zip them up. I did need to stretch the boot shaft at the goring to get the boot to zip up, and it was challenging to zip it up, but the zipper closed and the shaft was very comfortable. other boots that i have do not stretch at the shaft and feel like a girdle when i zip them up. Not these! I don't know about the waterproofing, but there is a gusset-like flap of leather at the bottom inside of the boot zipper where the shoe part connects to the shaft. This is to ensure no water gets into the boot via the zipper. it doesn't go all the way up but it will keep shoe-high water from getting into the boot. I've only seen this in very high-end waterproof boots. Overall, I'm impressed. They're stylish and comfortable, and i can't wait to wear them in the bad weather.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Nice boots but too tallVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Brooklyn on Sunday, January 27, 2019I really liked the overall look of the boot and they’re the perfect width - but sadly too tall for me- I’m 5’4” and they reached up to my knee which looked weird.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Love these boots!Reviewed by JR1059 from Georgia on Thursday, January 24, 2019True to size. Ordered 7.5, arrived with the label "wide calf" at first I was worried but when I tried them on and they didn't seem like most wide calf shoes I've encountered.
Broke in within the first 15-20 minutes of wearing them. The inner foot cushion feels like skechers memory foam shoes. Feels like you're walking on air! Perfect for rainy or cold weather days. Using them as work boots but they can definitely be dressed up.
