I've only worn these once in light rain, and my feet stayed dry. I cannot comment on their effectiveness in heavy rain or working around a lot of water, but for my purposes they've been great.

These boots have been a game changer, as my waterproof hiking boots were not cutting it and were making my feet sweat.
The toe box is a little narrower than I prefer (hence the star off), but they are still comfortable. I normally wear a size 7.5 and went with an 8, and they fit fabulously.
