5.0 out of 5 stars. Very comfortable shoeReviewed by Spudnut from Utah on Monday, May 13, 2019While I admit I am not an extreme user, I do use these shoes for daily walking and light hiking. I have trouble finding shoes with adequate arch support because I have very high arches and insteps. Usually if I find a shoe with adequate arch support it ends up cutting off my circulation over the instep. These shoes met both of my needs wonderfully. I have enough arch support to make hiking comfortable and the shoes have enough variability to be able to adjust to be non-constricting on my instep. They do run small as stated by others. I have quite a collection of shoes and boots and in 99% of those I wear size 9. I bought these in 42.5 (US 9.5) and they fit but I would not want them any smaller. I'm planning to purchase a pair of their Proton model and plan to order them in 43. I have friends who have Scarpa climbing and hiking shoes and they all love them. I love mine!

Light weight with great support turn this trail runner into daily light pack wanderer and village cruiser. Bottom line is, if your foot fits Scarpa, this is a terrific shoe.

I can't wait to try these out long term! Make sure to go a half size larger than your normal shoe size! I wear a size 9....and these fit me perfectly in a 9.5 ( would definitely be too tight in a size 9)!
