As the other reviewer implies I am not sure I would use them for heavy multi-day backpacking on rocks, but for day hikes or overnight on rocks, streams, snow, they are perfect.

Don't expect a serious backpacking boot, but for ankle high waterproof protection on a rocky hike or overnight, nothing is lighter than this boot.
