I am an adult with child sized feet. I love all Dansko shoes but am limited to which adult sized Danskos will fit. Very few of the open toe Sandal styles in a 35 will work for my size 34 feet. When childrens shoes are available in a style suitable for an adult, I buy them. Because of the other reviewers recommendations regarding size, I ordered these in size 32 and they fit perfectly as do other canvas children's' style Danskos. For leather children's Sanitas (like Danskos), I wear size 33. My Keen sandals fit in size 2 but I can manage a size 3 with my full length orthotic. For most other brands I wear a women's 4 or child's 2 1/2. With the sizing issue completed, I need to address the comfort and style. These shoes can be worn out of the box with no break-in time. There is ample cushioning and the heel gives1.5 inches of height that doesn't compromise walking since the heels gently rise from the platform. The shoes are a little wider than standard shoes because of their clog nature. However, they don't feel sloppy and stay on well because of the adjustable strap. They will also transition to fall because there is room for socks. The color is quite neutral ( not bright) and I have had so many compliments on these shoes. When asked for details and I say they are a child's size shoe, I usually hear how lucky I am to be able to wear such cute children's sizes (from uniformed shoppers who don't know the struggle to find shoes). These shoes and my children's Keens have been highlight of summer shoe purchases.

  • 2.0 out of 5 stars. Bulky. Not comfortable.

Got the blue ones for my daughter (size 33-34?). They are super cute but they were way too big (kids 34 fit me and I'm usually a size 36). Also, they felt a bit bulky. We sent them back and got a pair of Chacos for her instead. I used to love Danskos for myself (for work) but no longer find them at all comfortable. I now tend to buy Keens instead. I think I'll be avoiding Danskos in the future unless we can try them on first.

About Dansko

That fabulous feeling you get every time you slip into a pair of Dansko shoes is no accident. It’s the very reason why this footwear brand took the market by storm in the late 1980s after its signature style was discovered in a small Danish shop and reproduced (with several upgrades) by Mandy Cabot and Peter Kjellerup. Originally dubbed the "perfect barn shoes," that initial pair of Dansko clogs would soon evolve into a full collection, all featuring the signature anatomical footbed, roomy toe box, rocker bottom and heel raised just enough to ease leg and back muscles from morning to night. Now, more than two decades later, wildly popular Dansko shoes are available in more than 3,500 retail venues worldwide.
