2.0 out of 5 stars. Meh.Verified Buyer Reviewed by Wyobirdie from Wyoming on Friday, September 25, 2015This rug is kind of ugly in person and looks way more south-western than the photo indicates. It is also very rough/prickly feeling. We returned it.

4.0 out of 5 stars. So Far, So GoodVerified Buyer Reviewed by Kim from Oregon on Thursday, January 22, 2015I have only had this rug for a couple weeks, so I can't speak to whether it will stand the test of time, but I am pleased so far. I like the color and pattern and was pleasantly surprised by how soft the rug is.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Love it!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Gillian D from Brooklyn, NY on Monday, September 8, 2014Ordered this rug about a week ago and it arrived very quickly. After reading reviews we were concerned that it would be rough and not very sturdy, but so far that hasn't been the case at all! The rug is surprisingly soft for a natural wool rug! It fills our space beautifully and the color is perfect. The fact that is is reversible is such a bonus. The wool does a great job of hiding our dog's hair, and we haven't had any problems with the relatively large weave of this rug as other reviewers seem to have had. Maybe not the perfect rug for a a dog or cat that loves to scratch and paw at the floor, but perfect for our little pup!
It is a bit slippery on hardwood floors and doesn't have a ton of weight to keep it from movings, so a rug pad is definitely a must! -
3.0 out of 5 stars. Very pretty, but . . .Reviewed by G.G. from Northeast Ohio on Thursday, August 22, 2013I wanted to replace the large braided oval rug I'd purchased from STP a couple years ago, but the one I wanted sold out, so instead I tried 3 of these in the chevron pattern. (One in the middle of our hardwood floored living room, and the other two under the couch and the loveseat) I give rave reviews on the attractiveness (husband and students both admired) And although they seemed scratchy when unwrapping, they are actually very soft to the feet. But I have qualms about the durability - already, after only a couple weeks, there are loose threads. We have pets, and I am sure that this would be much less of a problem in a pet free home. But more importantly these are thin, shifting rugs and really really need a rug pad underneath them. So I recommend with reservations - I got at a fantastic price (almost enough saved to replace the drapes, which don't quite match these new rugs as well as they did the old braided one!)

2.0 out of 5 stars. Don't let it touch your bare skinReviewed by skibum from Colorado on Saturday, August 3, 2013This rug is very pretty, which is why I gave it a 2 star rating instead of 1. We bought it to put down in the living room when the dogs come in to help protect our carpet. It has two major issues. First is it is so unbelievably rough that it is uncomfortable on bare skin. This even includes bare feet! Since we often sit on the floor and hang out with the dogs, this was really not going to work for us. Also the weave is so rough that dog paws are going to tear the fibers out and it would look shabby in like a week. So unless you have no pets and will never have this rug touch your bare skin, I would not recommend it. One final note, it cost me $32 to ship and will probably cost at least that to ship back, so this ended up be an extremely expensive mistake.
