They do not hang straight, like it is shown in the picture. It is not a function issue, but i would have loved this skort so much more if it looked more skirt-like

The legs kind of ride up when you jog in this. Otherwise, the colors are super cute. I tried using it to swim in (being that I can't run in it) and the skirt floats up and the pants are kind of see-through.
I recommend this only for walks, maybe hikes, but definitely not running or swimming. -

It's short - I'm about 5' 8" and the hem is about 1" below my fingertips. The cut is slightly A-line, which is always flattering for me.
The only issues I noticed is a seam in the back below the waist band tends to bunch up a little. Given its location it would only be noticible if I have on a cropped shirt or tank. The fabric is soft and there's a little hidden pocket in the waistband on the side.
Overall this looks like a well made item and I look forward to my first experience with a short. -
