5.0 out of 5 stars. Nice Piece of Gear

I don't really like attache cases...they tend to have a limited scope of use and are too "fussy'--too many places to put things that I don't seem to really need to put things into. I prefer messenger bags but, lately, I've found that they're either too bulky or "floppy"...not my style...
I decided to try this case because it's a companion piece to the Bric's Pronto wheeled duffels and I am in love with them!
I'm so glad I took a chance! This is the exact right size of bag for carrying work related stuff.
It will accommodate my antiquated 11/2"x 15'x 10" laptop (for personal use) in the center area. It's not designed for a laptop so I use a well padded sleeve (which I would do anyway). It works perfectly--it's very little effort to take it out and put it back in through airport security.
It has a large inside zippered pocket which will accommodate a few old-school pocket folders--two smaller open pockets-each could hold a tablet or a journal/appointment book (about 7 " wide and up to 12" long) and there are 2 card and pen holders, With all that, there'still room for all my little bags of electronic gadgets.(I already have my stuff in their own little bags so I have no need for more compartments).
It is a low profile bag--even packed it's about 3 inches deep--no way for it to be bulky! The shoulder strap is adjustable and has a small pad--don't expect to be needing more than that!
There are no outside pockets so the design looks sleek and no-nonsense. There is an outside pocket that slips over the 21" rolling duffel handle. With the right gear--that meeting in CA is no sweat and I'm lookin' good doin' it.
Bric's pieces are classic, well made and good looking! I'm partial to the espresso w/black leather accents. It looks good enough to check in @ the Imperial Oriental or Four Seasons, but not too uppity for dragging through the Arts District or Outlet shops...
I can't thank STP enough for making this quality Bric's merchandise affordable. I'll admti it freely--I'm a fan!

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Great bag - lots of nice touches

This has a great quality feel, and has some very nice touches such as a strap to attach it to a rolling suitcase handle. It is relatively small, so don't expect to carry a ton of stuff.
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Still worth it for twice the price.

This is a very well-made bag, and I can see why it is normally sold for $200 (seriously, I cannot find it for less than $180 throughout the internet). I use it for my MacBook Air, and I can also fit my workout clothes (and sneakers). It is slim but still somewhat roomy. The subtle stitching on the leather really makes it appropriate enough for all work environments. Definitely a step up from the computer bags that come with the laptop as an accessory.
