5.0 out of 5 stars. Great fly and priceReviewed by Jeff S from Georgia on Friday, May 22, 2015This is a very well tied soft hackle version of Dave Whitlock's classic fly. For trout in the Southeast, nothing works better.

5.0 out of 5 stars. great flyReviewed by Fisher Bob from Virginia on Thursday, December 26, 2013I have used the red squirrel nymph fly for years for trout with great success. This fly is well tied and the price is right. Can't go wrong with a few of these in your tackle box. This fly is sometimes tied with a bead head which is equally productive.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Well tied and a great patternReviewed by Jim, Eagle river fly fisher from Missouri on Saturday, September 7, 2013This is a really nice soft hackle version of the red squirrel fly. I like to fish it at the beginning or end of pools with a smaller nymph trailing.
