5.0 out of 5 stars. GREAT PRODUCTVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from canon city, colorado on Friday, August 5, 2016I love the SOG tools. I have one on EVERY pack I have. The basic tools are all you really need on a tool. It is light weight, easy access to all tools, easy to fold them back up, very durable and functional pliers, knife blade is strong and easy to sharpen, the tweezers, and toothpick tools are A GREAT ADDITION!!!

2.0 out of 5 stars. Cracked Plastic PlatesReviewed by Geohacker from LA on Friday, July 22, 2016Just received the multi tool and upon inspection both sided plates, known as scales, were cracked around the screws that hold the tool together. This is a problem due to over tightening the screws on cheap plastic during assembly. The toothpick also slides out by itself and will eventually get lost. SOG is going down hill on product quality.

4.0 out of 5 stars. SOG quality multitoolVerified Buyer Reviewed by better_late_than_never from bay area on Tuesday, April 14, 2015Decent SOG quality blade and tools but not SOG quality grip plates or tweezers; this was my 2nd try (returned 1st one for several cracks in grip plates) and this one has cracks in the grip plates also (both were transparent plastic- maybe better off with the solid plate or at least you won't see the cracks); the tweezer was not finished well - had uneven edging and the toothpick was plastic with injection spur still attached to working end. Decided to keep this one (had less cracks than the 1st one). The needle nose is clean and has good fit and the tools are okay but I wish the screw driver working ends (including the phillips end) weren't rounded off - that's just increasing the risk of the bit slipping out when you start to bear down on the screw.

1.0 out of 5 stars. Plastic handleReviewed by Anonymous from Seattle on Saturday, February 8, 2014I didn't know the handle would be plastic. It is, however, plastic. It's a hard/durable plastic, but it's not what I thought I was purchasing. Feels cheap. And i own two other SOG knives.

2.0 out of 5 stars. Great design, poor executionReviewed by Anonymous from California on Friday, December 27, 2013This is a great design for a working (not gimmicky) multi-tool. Just the necessary tools, and they all lock open for hard use and safety. Sadly, the workmanship/quality control is terrible. The little stud that operates the tool unlocking device broke off the first time I handled it (gently!). The 2 flat screwdriver blades had rounded edges. The scales already had several small cracks on arrival. I compared it to my 10 year old American-made SOG multi-tool, and the difference in workmanship was dramatic. Two stars for the design, but overall this tool was unacceptable.

2.0 out of 5 stars. Plastic Handle Cracked ImmediatelyReviewed by Rocky from NJ on Wednesday, November 13, 2013I wish I was reviewing this upon use of the tool but it just didn't make it to me using it. After opening the box of my brand new SOG Powerduo Multi-Tool and taking it out of the plastic, I promptly opened all the tools. The stress of opening the tool and returning them to their home cracked the plastic handle in many locations. The most cracks were surrounding the tool lock toggle button that goes right through a hole in the plastic handle. I contacted SOG first and they said it was not a common problem but I should return it through Sierra Trading Post. That's what I'm doing and hopefully the exchanged item will not have the same issues. Other than that it feels like a quality tool and I look forward to actually using it for something.
