My wife is really picky about comfort as she's on her feet all day, and she loves them after wearing them for a few weeks. Ever so slightly large, but thick socks instead of thin solves the problem.

I am a true size 8 and ordered the 39 but they are too big so had to reorder them in 38 so I would say they run true to size as listed.

I generally wear a 10 in flat shoes, a 9.5 in heels and a 10.5 in running shoes. Sent them back for the 42 and it was much better. Narrow in the toe box but very comfortable with a soft, low pile lining, supple leather upper. Purchased the green and LOVE the color-like a medium deep olive. Took a star off for the sizing.
