They keep your keep warm in winter/cool in summer and are super comfortable. I run very difficult trails and terrain with them and they last for a long time. Even after very hard use, they may start to thin in areas where your foot rubs the most, but can still be used for a long time after.

I perfer smartwool socks with at least a light to medium coushion. The PhD Meduim Mini fits the bill. I officiate sporting events and this sock provides, confort by keeping my feet dry and cool.
