5.0 out of 5 stars. As Described - Quality PieceVerified Buyer Reviewed by Lorenzo from West on Monday, October 12, 2015This is a great product, we have had down and wool. Looked for something in between and found this. Excellent quality and performance. Packing wrinkles coming out finally. Looks great.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Extremely Well-MadeReviewed by STP Shopper from Ohio on Friday, August 21, 2015For over 20 years, we have used our 800-fill power, wonderful goose down comforter in the winter. I love that comforter so much that I long for cold weather and complain in the summer about the wool blankets that feel too heavy. (the 800-fill power yields cloud-like warmth.) Buying a summer-weight comforter became my purpose in life, but most comforters were 600-fill power and I was spoiled. Anyway, I tried this silk-filled version and can report that it seems to be excellent quality--beautifully sewn with tightly woven cotton. It is NOT as light in weight as I'd like, but it's really not that heavy either. If I could afford $1,000 for what I'd really like, I'd consider down, but for the price, this is excellent. I do need to contact STP about the color; I ordered white, but the comforter I got looks very off-white, creamy or "natural." Oh...for what's worth, the German translation of "Wildseide" in the contents listing is wild silk.

5.0 out of 5 stars. We love it!Verified Buyer Reviewed by OBXKoastie from Virginia on Monday, March 23, 2015This is listed as "Summer Weight" but it is plenty warm enough for us and we keep our house at 64 at night in the winter. We can't imagine how warm a "Winter Weight" comforter would be. It appears to be very well made; it is Made in Austria, not some Third World country. We hope to get many years of pleasant nights sleep with this comforter..

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great down natural down alternativeReviewed by Anonymous from Puget Sound, WA on Tuesday, February 25, 2014I found this same comforter on Amazon with a lot of positive reviews and not competitive with STP pricing. It is thinner than a goose down comforter. I personally do not like a big, poofy comforter, and prefer a trimmer look. I think for the climate I live in, Pacific NW, this is good for almost year-round.

5.0 out of 5 stars. cozy comfortReviewed by Nice 'n Warm from Oklahoma on Monday, January 20, 2014The label on the package said summer weight for this comforter, but I find it perfect for the winter as well. For those with weight/foot issues it is very light, yet warm. The cover is a nice sturdy polished cotton. It is similar to the silk comforters I remember from Beijing hotels.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Nice so farReviewed by Nika from Idaho on Saturday, December 7, 2013I bought this on Black Friday for a great price because a friend raved about the silk-filled comforter she brought back from a trip to China. The silk filling is sort of like pads of material and I do believe that they won't shift. It is a nice weight and I think we'll be able to use it for several months out of the year, whereas down is too hot most of the time. The size is perfect for our king bed, with plenty of material overhanging both sides. The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is that the cotton covering could be softer. If they'd used a pre-washed cotton it would be better, but as-is, it is kind of crinkly and a little stiff. Also, this is dry clean only, so it can't be thrown in the wash to soften up the outer cover. We've used it two nights so far and definitely prefer it to the lightweight down alternative we were using, which was not as breathable as this all-natural fiber comforter.
