4.0 out of 5 stars. Nice boot!Verified Buyer Reviewed by JohnG from California on Friday, August 9, 2019Overall this hiking boot was a great price and fit well. It can be a little snug at first in the mid area as the tongue of the shoe is connected (like a slip on) which makes it more water resistant. It feels light and comfortable but recommend trying a pair for fit and comfort first.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Pure comfortVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Texas on Wednesday, February 27, 2019I struggle trying to find comfortable hiking and backpacking boots. As I get older, lighter equipment is better, but light boots that still provide ankle protection against sprains from ankle roll-over is a must. These hikers are a good mix of comfort (very thick, yet cushioned) soles, combined with good ankle support. These have not been on the trail for any length of time, so I cannot report on the durability of the soles or the uppers, but so far so good.
As for sizing, my foot runs wide and in the past boots that come in wide widths fit me the best. However, I thought I'd try my size in the medium width, since they aren't made in wides, and they fit perfectly...much better than any other lightweight hiker I tried.
