5.0 out of 5 stars. exactly what I wanted

This insect shield is worth having in your pack. Rain and humidity can bring tons of annoying bugs especially in the spring/early summer almost to the point of unbearable getting in your ears eyes mouth etc.. this net will give solid protection from all of that without being heavy or difficult to see through. Great purchase for the pice on STP with dealflyer coupons

  • 2.0 out of 5 stars. Way too big

This headnet is way too big for a normal sized person with a normal sized hat. It would fit okay if you wore a Mexican sombero. It is so large that a small child could fit in it like a sleeping bag. I am about 5'9" tall and it covered my head to my armpits! I would think OR would do a better job on this, but, that's why it's in Derailed, I guess. Sorry, it went back.

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. No gnats!

I garden a lot, and at times thought this would be useful. My son has already claimed it to take fishing!
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. For the price this can't be beat

I have a cabin in the woods and in the summer it's sometimes unbearable with bugs and mosquitos. Haven't been able to try these out yet but I'm sure they'll be much better than bare skin.

About Outdoor Research

The concept for Outdoor Research was devised in 1981 when climber Ron Gregg’s planned ascent of Denali was cut short, ending prematurely with his frostbitten partner being airlifted off a glacier. The cause was a faulty pair of gaiters. During his descent, Gregg resolved himself to create better gear, a resolution that soon led him to build the first pair of award-winning Outdoor Research gaiters. The concept was simple: Make outdoor apparel and gear with a clear focus on reliability. In the many years since, this brand has continued to blaze new trails with cutting-edge products that now include Outdoor Research gloves, jackets, backpacks and Outdoor Research hats, all engineered to exceed expectations in the most demanding conditions on the planet.
