The lower water bladder really takes the pressure off my shoulders. It is so comfortable I hardly know I'm wearing a pack. Lots of pockets to store essentials. I do miss the side zippered pockets of the previous version but it more than makes up for that in comfort. I would highly recommend this pack. I have had 4 or 5 HAWGs and mt. biked thousands of miles so I know a good thing when I wear it.
