5.0 out of 5 stars. ski jacket reviewVerified Buyer Reviewed by Q from Montana on Tuesday, December 29, 2015I purchased this ski jacket as a gift for my wife and she has been very happy with it. She says it fits and performs in everyway as shehad expected. It is not baggy but never binds allowing a free range of motion without looking bulky (a concern I guess in womens ski wear). It has done a great job in keeping moisture out through its fit, the powder skirt and hood and of course the Gore-Tex liner.

5.0 out of 5 stars. perfect ski to spring hiking jacketReviewed by Maggs from evergreen, colorado on Wednesday, February 12, 2014I have hips that don't quit so even though i am fairly short this jacket is truly perfect fit and comfort for skiing. it also functions as a great raincoat and windbreaker - highly recommend. I am 5'4" and usually wear a size 12 jeans and I ordered the extra large since i like wearing a light down jacket under it while skiing. without the under layer, it resembles a bit of a fuschia trench coat. no matter! it is warm and dry and light weight - thumbs up.

5.0 out of 5 stars. LOVEReviewed by watergirl from Tennessee on Saturday, December 7, 2013Wow, this is such a great jacket, and at a steel! It has all the advantages of a normal waterproof shell, buts its soft and not noisy at all. I can't wait to get on the slopes with it! It does run a little larger than other Arcteryx gear. I am 5'7 135 lbs and got the medium. It is a little big, especially the arm length, but it will be perfect for a fleece underneath.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great ShellReviewed by Anonymous from Saint Louis on Saturday, November 30, 2013This is a great shell, it's a strong soft-shell which can be used as a hard shell. It's highly waterproof and breathable, like a hard shell, at the same time, much more soft and comfortable.
it is relaxed cut that I can easily put my fleece even down sweater underneath. Looks beautiful and the color is nice too. The super high quality is the part I liked the most, it is an Arc'teryx after all.
Love it! -
5.0 out of 5 stars. Beautiful jacketReviewed by Anonymous from West Shore Best Shore on Monday, November 25, 2013I am tall, athletic and big hipped. This jacket fits beautifully. A little large through the waist as I have an hour glass figure. The quality is outstanding. It layers up nicely. Haven't taken it out on the mountain, because it just doesn't seem to want to snow in Tahoe. I was glad to find the XL on line. All of the stores seem to carry only small sizes. The large fit me OK, but I like the extra room in the XL so I can secure the powder skirt and cinch the jacket down. Would I pay 500.00 reatil for this well made jacket? Probably not, but with the deal flyer I am ecstatic. As a former Patagonia snob, I have switched over to this outstanding brand. Looking forward to going out in the most inclement of weather. Bring it!

3.0 out of 5 stars. Paper thinReviewed by Morris4243 from Hudson Ohio on Monday, November 18, 2013Absolutely no insulation. Essentially a 500 rain coat.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Gigantic armsReviewed by MsEverywhereist from West Virginia on Wednesday, November 6, 2013This jacket is sized really weird. I'm petite bodied but have long arms. I ordered a small and it was way too long in the arms. I'm 5'0" and 115 pounds and always wear a small. The powder skirt was tight too. It's well made and a nice jacket, but fits weird. I returned it.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Arc'teryx for AlaskaReviewed by The Best Mom Ever from Maine on Wednesday, October 23, 2013I bought this ski jacket for my daughter who has fell in love with and moved to Alaska! She was so excited when she recieved and and continues to tell me "Thank YOu" everytime I talk to her :). She says it "perfect" and the nicest ski jacket she has ever had. Being from Maine, and an avid skiier, she is so looking forward to skiing at Alyeska this winter.
