Good quality waterproof hiking shoesVerified Buyer Reviewed by Lisa the Commuter from Boston on Monday, March 11, 2019So far I've worn these waterproof hiking shoes to commute to the city on slushy, snowy days and they've been great. I know that's not their intended use but it's what I have done so far. They are stiff (the reason for the 4) but being leather, i believe they'll soften and will fill better on my feet with use. The soles are good. I'm happy with them especially for the price.

I have custom orthotics so I removed the regular insert. The shoe has a wide toe which is great for me. I haven't yet tried it for a long walk.

These are perfect and very comfortable. I own two pairs of the Montara II hiking shoes and really like them as well. Ahnu is a light hiking shoe with great support, comfort and style. There are a lot of choices for hiking shoes and I am glad I found Ahnu on STP. My only other wish is that Sierra Trading Post would open a store in Maine.
