5.0 out of 5 stars. ExcellentReviewed by Shawano Guy from Madison WI on Friday, September 6, 2019These are great bibs. I wear a 38 waist by 30 inch inseam in Carhartt jeans. I bought these in a 42 waist and a 30 inch inseam. I would recommend sizing up at least one or 2 sizes in the waist from your jeans size. I have a gut so the extra waist size is necessary. You may also want to order them a little shorter than your Carhartt jeans size. They seem to run long. They are not cotton duck, they have a thick nylon exterior, cordura maybe. This seems to make them lighter than a duck pair. Also consider upsizing your normal Carhartt coat to fit over these especially if you have a gut. There is insulation in the upper portions of these bibs that takes up space under a coat. I usually wear an XL coat, but my XL Carhartt arctic coat is a little tight on my gut with these and a light layer under the coat. I rate these a strong buy. My dimensions if it helps, 5' 10" 240 with a gut, fatter than fit.
