FL on Friday, June 12, 2015Was surprised that these are so easy to walk in, but the heel height and arch support both help. They are a true medium and the size 8 is more like a euro 38(7 1/2-8). The box says 39, but wouldn't advise if you are an 8 1/2. Go up a size. The leather is sturdy, but soft to the touch and the taupe looks well with all colors.

They are very comfortable and look stylish. I have thin feet, so I bought my regular size, 7.5 and they are perfect.

I'm used to wearing Chaco sandals, so to me these had no arch support at all. The heel part of the footbed is raised and rounded instead of cupping the heel, so when I walked in these it made my feet roll inward and it hurt my knees after just a few minutes of wearing them in the house- and I'm only 29! Too bad, because they are cute, true to size, and comfy (except for what I mentioned). I've tried lots of other slide/thong sandals recently, and these were the best, just still didn't work for me.

I wore them one time with no problems, but starting after the second time, they started to make a lot of noise when I wear them! Every time I step, air is leaking out of the heel (or somewhere) and it sounds like Darth Vader on helium is following me (not very good when trying to walk quietly through the office)! This is very disappointing! Unfortunately due to this rather loud problem, I would hesitate to purchase again. My quest continues for a cute, white summer sandal.
