4.0 out of 5 stars. Great boot.Reviewed by Annelise from Wyoming on Saturday, June 27, 2015Awesome boots right out of the box. I wouldn't say these boots are narrow, they fit more like a medium. I purchased the 8 and they fit just fine. Nice bright detail in the stiching and the tan color looks worn in without looking worn out.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Sonora BootVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Virginia on Tuesday, May 5, 2015This boot is beautiful and fit well. I'd say that it runs pretty true to size (maybe slightly bigger as to allow for a boot sock). Love it!

4.0 out of 5 stars. Love these bootsVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Rochester, NY on Tuesday, April 14, 2015I just opened the box and I already love them. They smell like real leather should. The stitching is little garish, but I hope to be able to tone it down with polish.
Notes regarding the fit: These are marked 8B, although they run very narrow for a medium width. They are just a tiny bit wide for my narrow feet, but a cork insole should do the trick. Also, they are narrow at the top of the boot. All and all I couldn't have hoped for a better overall fit. -

5.0 out of 5 stars. Love These Boots!!!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from North Georgia on Friday, May 16, 2014I have several pairs of cowboy boots but never had found a pair of charcoal gray until I saw these Sonora Maya ones on STP. All my boots are 6.5 medium and that size was not available. Since they were narrow, I took a chance and ordered a size 7. They were way big for me. The forefoot was a wee bit more narrow but the heel was not at all narrow. I sent them back and exchanged for another style in Sonora brand in 6.5 medium. They fit perfectly but they were not gray. I kept them but had not worn them and one day I happened to check the STP website again and was so happy to see that someone had returned a 6.5. I immediately ordered that pair and sent the other back. The Sonora brand is beautifully crafted in Mexico with quality leather and excellent attention to detail. I am so happy to have them and love wearing them.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Sonora Maya Gray Cowboy BootsReviewed by Anonymous from North Georgia on Tuesday, March 18, 2014These boots are exactly what I have been looking for. They are a beautiful gray with very nice subtle colors of stitching. I wanted to keep them so badly but they were just too big. I normally wear size 6.5 in a western boot but the smallest size was a 7 and since it said "narrow" I took a chance but they slipped badly and made it difficult to walk normally. The craftsmanship was excellent so I exchanged them for another pair of Sonora boots that fit just right in 6.5. The heel of the boot is a normal medium size but the forefoot is a bit more narrow and fit me perfectly. In a dress shoe I wear 7 narrow.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Beautiful boot, runs largeReviewed by Suzanne from Albuquerque on Friday, February 21, 2014These are beautiful classic boots. My feet measure an size 9 B. The size 9 I received was a full size too large for me. I loved them enough to happily wait for an exchange, but got a different Sonora boot since size 8 was unavailable. Double H Boots make the Sonora line, in case you're comparing brands.
A note on the "heel slip" complaint reviewers have with this and several other cowboy boots at STP. ALL COWBOY BOOTS ARE MADE TO SLIP AT THE HEEL. The intentional loose fit through the heel and ankle prevents blistering, and was originally to facilitate the heel-down position of the foot in the stirrup in traditional Western riding. Most of us are more likely to notice that the heel slip is good for dancing :)
It's perfectly okay to not like the way cowboy boots fit, or to be dissatisfied with bad sizing or workmanship, but it isn't helpful to other customers to give an item a less-favorable review because it performs as intentionally designed. I've worn cowboy boots almost exclusively my whole life and currently wear Corral, Ariat, Frye, Durango and Justin boots, so within my experience, these compare to Ariat's current average length, to Justin's less-expensive boots in quality, and to ALL brands in heel slip. -
4.0 out of 5 stars. Great looking boot!Reviewed by jeni from Alabama on Friday, February 14, 2014Loved the look of these boots, good quality, fit like my other Sonora boots in width, except my heel kept slipping out when I walked around the house. Like other reviewers I found the sole very slippery, needs scuffing. But, the heel slippage had me send them back. Otherwise, great bang for the buck!

5.0 out of 5 stars. Love them!Reviewed by Loves Country from Western Massachusetts on Tuesday, January 21, 2014These boots are very well made and super comfy. They are made entirely of leather--sole and all. I took the advice of other reviewers and ordered 1/2 size down and they fit perfect. I'm not sure why they are referred to as "narrow," as I am a medium width and they seem to be medium width.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Beautiful BootReviewed by oakhill from Pennsylvania on Tuesday, December 31, 2013I wanted so badly to keep these. I really love the way they look. The width across the toes and ball of the foot was great, but for some odd reason, the heel on both was just too wide, causing my foot to keep sliding up on the inside of the boot. I don't even think one of those heel things to keep your foot from sliding would help at all, because it would have taken a couple of them to work. I didn't want to chance blisters on my heels from something that just didn't fit right so had to return them.
