1.0 out of 5 stars. Too smallVerified Buyer Reviewed by Seth from Las Vegas on Monday, March 7, 2016I was excited about this helmet. I am on the Red Rock Search And Rescue and was happy to see a well made helmet with the white and orange color scheme (SAR colors) but when I received the helmet it was extremely small. Even with the adjustable head strap opened all the way up it was a skull cap on me. I have a 7 7/8" hat size. When I ordered this item there was no option for choosing a different size. Too bad as STP has a very limited supply of climbing helmets.
I would have given 5 stars if the helmet would have fit. -
3.0 out of 5 stars. Not one size fits allReviewed by Sente from Washington on Saturday, March 5, 2016Great price for this helmet, but it's not big enough. I have a normal size head for a guy, and I can barely get it on my head at the largest sizing, which leaves no room for a beanie, etc. for cold weather mountaineering. Other than size issue - great value for this helmet.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Good for smaller headsVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Texas on Wednesday, February 17, 2016The listing said this was an adult sized helmet. I wear a 7 5/8 or 7 3/4 depending on various hat makers... but this helmet was way too small even with the ratchet head band all the way open. So I say it would fit most women and guys that wear smaller hat sizes.
The helmet looked fine and well made. I just wish the makers would consider a size for us with watermelon heads. -

5.0 out of 5 stars. As good as it gets for a $30 helmet!Reviewed by RyanE from Sonoma, CA on Thursday, April 17, 2014I had been climbing with a generalized action-sports helmet from Bern for a while, but when I saw the prices they had these at (dips below $30 with discounts) I ordered one for myself and the female version for my GF. Stays in place well, easily adjustable and while there are lighter and maybe "fancier" climbing helmets, this one is worlds better than any non climbing helmet and probably as good or better than any climbing helmet within 2x the price. No excuse for not having a lid on climbing/belaying on real rock when prices are like this.
Recently ordered another one for a friend I climb with so he can ditch the skate-board helmet; now if I can just convince him not to climb in his "women's yoga pants" :) -
5.0 out of 5 stars. Great UpgradeReviewed by Anonymous from Boston on Tuesday, April 1, 2014I bought this helmet as an upgrade to an old hand-me-down that I've been rockin' (see what I did there?) for two years. For less than $50, you can't do any better than the Camp Armour. It's lightweight, comfortable, and it stays put without slipping backward on my head like some other helmets do. I like the ability to adjust the size via the dial in the back, as this makes it easy to enlarge to accommodate a hat underneath in cooler weather. The fact that this helmet isn't quite as ugly as some others is another, less important, but nevertheless, appreciated feature.
