I am 5'10 185-190 and purchased an xl which fits well, a little room(I dont like these type of shirts skin tight or like a tent).I feel the pattern can be worn for a couple of years without "going out of style" if you are one of those who like to be fashionable on the trail. This could be worn out and about or out of doors very versatile.I want to say thanks to Sierra Trading Post for allowing me to purchase great clothes and gear on a slim budget..
