They are short...this skirt is a few inches above the knee.Therefore, I'd order on the larger size simply for length.
I had to cut and resew the buttons to allow the wrap to fit both my girls' skirts. They are slender but not "skinny" yet the skirt is a bit wide with the buttons as-sewn. Moving the buttons fixed the problem.
This is a great skirt at a great price.
