I am a big girl and they fit me well in XL and they have lots of stretch to allow freedom of movement. I really like the length. They are not shorts but are short enough to be comfortable in hot weather.

I was surprised considering the fabric. The pant legs are a little longer on me, at mid-calf, since I'm only 5'4''. The waistband is wide and comfortable and a bit stretchy so don't size up at all if you are between sizes.

All my extra weight seems to go directly to my midsection (have slim hips and thighs) and have a hard time finding pants that fit comfortably around my waist without being too big around my hips. These are comfortable and flattering! I am 5'7" and 150 lbs.

It is like stretchy nylon and it made a lot of noise when I walked so I returned them. Too bad because other than the material, they were great!
