4.0 out of 5 stars. Well made shellVerified Buyer Reviewed by ChiChem from Chicago on Saturday, December 10, 2016If you remain active outside the insulation in this jacket might keep you warm, but it is better paired with another jacket inside. That being said, it appears that the sizing of the jacket accounts for this. Both the large size and the extra large size run big. So if your into layering, this is a great outer piece. The product itself is very well made, and it is worth the price.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Marmot Sky PilotVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Utah on Sunday, December 4, 2016Bought this jacket for downhill skiing--have only used it once, so the review is very preliminary. Fits well and the quality seems consist with Marmot's reputation. It does not seem as warm as I had hoped. But overall, it meets my expectations.

5.0 out of 5 stars. When Patagonia isn't good enoughVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Michigan on Thursday, July 2, 2015I ski patrol and that means you are going to be out in the worst of it for a long time. None of the NSP sponsored Patagonia coats have any substantial lining or insulation, they aren't long enough and the hood isn't helmet compatible. Fortunately Marmot makes great bullet proof coats and this is it. So if you can find one in Team Red, order your patches and crosses and have your local tailor custom make your coat. I am buying another in a different color for the days I don't patrol. If you are looking for a great cold weather coat (10 degrees and under) this is it. Pockets Pockets Pockets! Pit Zips, media zippered internal side pocket, detachable hood. Thank you Marmot and Thank You Sierra TP. Saved $150 and my overall cost is less than what the NSP is offering on their site even with the discount. Someone from Marmot should make some calls to NSP, you could own it.
