5.0 out of 5 stars. Marmot Tamarak JacketVerified Buyer Reviewed by Jeff from Wisconsin on Thursday, March 31, 2016This is a well made jacket with a lifetime warranty. It seems to be true to size in large, with nice length in the arms and back. It is not real warm and will be worn in the spring and fall. There seems to be a zipper for a liner, but don't know about availability. I like that the hood can be easily removed. Have not had this in the rain vet.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great general purpose spring/fall jacketVerified Buyer Reviewed by Mike L. from Wisconsin on Friday, June 12, 2015I was looking for a heavier shell, and this met all my needs. A reasonably sized hood (not one designed to go over a helmet.) A front wind/rain zipper flap (I'm not sure why so many jackets these days lack these, but they're invaluable on brisk windy days.) Good all weather performance, and room to layer. I'm sure this will end up being my most frequently used coat over the course of a year.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Awesome Shell!Reviewed by Anonymous from Vermont on Monday, March 10, 2014I love this shell. The first chance I had to put it through its' paces was a vacation up to Lake Placid for some snowshoeing and hiking. This shell is very lightweight, has really good breathability, and fits well to. I am 6'1" and weigh 220 lbs. I wanted to layer under it, so I ordered the XXL. It fits perfect. The angel wing design is such a nice feature and I absolutely love the pit zips for ventilation. Being able to remove the hood is nice to, if it isn't needed. I bought the jacket in the color green. It looks very sharp in the woods or out walking around town. The shell also has a soft, quiet feel to it so it doesn't seem to make much noise, which is very nice. I own other Marmot products, so I wasn't too overly surprised with the quality of this shell, but it's hard to know exactly what your ordering until it comes and you can try it on. So far, I don't have a bad thing to say about this shell. If you purchase it, you won't be disappointed.
