5.0 out of 5 stars. Different but good!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Country living girl from Virginia on Wednesday, August 26, 2015I have been having some hip pain after running and I had read that the Hoka One One can help with that. I have been a loyal Asics runner for a long time but I decided to try something new. I consistently wear a women's 9 in Asics and the Hoka One One size 9 fit perfectly. The shoes is comfortable. It does feel a little different when walking but I did not have any trouble adjusting to running in it. I was watching my shadow and it looks like my form is a little different but I did not consider that a bad thing.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Hoka One One Kailua Tarmac Road Running Shoes WomenVerified Buyer Reviewed by Outdoorsandmore from Port Orchard, WA on Friday, August 21, 2015Fits true to size. Bought my normal shoe size and this style fit perfectly. My son recommended this brand to me for the cushioning. He is a long distance runner and loves the extra cushioning when he runs. So, I gave it a try and I have to agree! When I put on my other brands I miss the comfort of these. I run and do a couple of miles a day and these shoes make all the difference. I do not have hip or knee issues, but I do have tenderness in the balls of my feet and these shoes really seem to help. I will be buying this brand again.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Like them so far!Verified Buyer Reviewed by 50something from Nebraska on Saturday, July 4, 2015After reading the other reviews, I decided to try these shoes because of recent hip issues. I normally buy a 10.5 wide in Asics GT 2000. The 10.5 medium in the Hoka is plenty wide. The heel cut is very high requiring more than a short sock. I like the lacing system and overall they are very cushiony but not in an overly bouncy way. My first couple of runs felt a little awkward, but I am adjusting and it is better on my hips. I'm glad that I purchased.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Nice ShoeVerified Buyer Reviewed by Cowgal from Seattle on Monday, June 15, 2015I was hesitant to try this (to me) odd looking shoe, I am glad I took the plunge. I do not run but I weight train and do a lot of functional fitness, this shoe has great stability and is easy on the joints. In regular style running shoes I wear between a 9.5 and a 10. I chose the 9.5 and then tried on similar Hoka styles at a local retailer where I found size 9 too small. The 9.5 felt generous but that is because Hoka uses a men's last, so keep this in mind if you have a narrow foot. I have a neutral foot, high, rigid arches and a high instep. Usually lacing systems cause me some pain by the time I'm done but this is comfortable, period, no pain at all on my instep. Lots of compliments on the shoe too, glad I gave it a go and will I will be adding more Hokas to my workout shoe collection.
