back is breathable stretch material and not wind proof.
They have no pockets but I don't have a need for any when wearing a ski jacket that has them. -

I haven't been out in super windy or super cold conditions yet - to say how well the wind-breaking on the front works - but they do breath well in the back, so you don't get overheated.

I do wish they had a couple of slash pockets somewhere along the leg though. -

Fit is generally as described; I'm able to use them with XC boots despite having a 36" inseam (size L), although they would definitely be short otherwise.

I like the wind proof front, seems to work fine. Nice gripper tape at bottom seam. long drawcord, plenty of room to tie. Not too thick, not too thin.
