Extremely warm without overheatingVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from New England on Tuesday, November 3, 2015I'm allergic to down and it was difficult to find a comforter with the same qualities -- soft, warm, breathable. But this comforter is all of these things. It does require an extra-large capacity washer/dryer, and I've just put it in a duvet for now rather than washing it, so I cannot comment on how it holds up with that. The double stitching means that it keeps its shape perfectly (though, should note I've only had it 2 weeks). But the best part is its breathability. I haven't overheated so far. I'm a very picky buyer and I highly recommend this! I should make one note that it had a strange smell out of the bag, but that quickly dissipated.

Replaced a decade old microfiber quilt which was in sore need of major repairs which were given safty pin, duct tape and haphazzard stitching to keep it going. This quilt it terrific! The cotton sateen fabric makes it less 'slippery' than other covers, so not slidding off the bed during the night. Perfect weight and warmth over regular blanket.
