Size large in Pearl Izumi always fit well so I ordered that size and they actually are a very similar fit. The waist may be a tad larger but that works even better. (I'm not curvy...... hips aren't much larger than waist). The length is good. I've only used them once on a 35 mile ride but feel certain that I will get my money's worth.

I love these. They are very comfortable with lots of padding for the bum but not so much to make you feel like you are wearing a diaper. They do not ride up at all during my rides and give enough thigh coverage to make me feel comfortable. I am 5'7", 125 lbs and usually wear a size 4 in jeans. The size S in these shorts works for me.

I have muscular legs but the legs on the shorts fit tight and the rump area large enough for two of me! The chamois padding was so bulky I couldn't comfortably bring my legs together. Did not keep them.

I am 5' 6" 135 lb the M required a wiggle to get on and the L I would actually like a bit tighter! oh well. keeping the L!
the 6 panel design is sweet and I like the little pocket on the hip!
