5.0 out of 5 stars. Good jacket, may run a little smallVerified Buyer Reviewed by Gale-Force Girl from Wyoming on Sunday, December 28, 2014My son who is picky likes this. I purchased the red grey, looks nice, size 14-16, he is 10, skinny, fits just right, so if anything runs a bit small.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Runs small!Reviewed by Anonymous from Rhode Island on Thursday, December 25, 2014Got the red/blue for my son.. Great looking jacket and he loves the lightweight feel. Will be a good outer layer for light wind/ cooler days and a good insulated layer with a shell for those nasty cold rainy days.
** Be aware.. Runs SMALL! My son is 11 yo, 80 lbs. he usually wears 10-12. I'm so glad I bought this in 14/16, thinking it would be good for next year. It fits him perfectly now... More like a 10/12. -
5.0 out of 5 stars. Slim Snow JacketReviewed by McHillberry from Brentwood, TN on Monday, December 1, 2014I bought this jacket as a gift, but it is way too narrow for the child it was intended for. The large says 14/16 in the jacket label, but fits an 11 year old girl who is very slim. It is so slim when you remove it from the box, you think 'Wow, this is slim!'. Now having said all that if you have a slim kid you will want to pick this coat up!! I went to the Avalanche website to get some info on the product and they listed it as a jacket. I cannot comment on how well it keeps you warm, but I am guessing it would be great in 20+ conditions or for really cold vigorous outdoor activity. I am keeping for my daughter since it is a great find for a child who always ends up in a sloppy too wide winter jacket.
