Other than the weird feeback, the sound was better than I had guessed it would be. I returned them a few days after purchase.

They're ok, but seem needlessly complicated. Also, the description lies, they aren't individually powered. This is a single speaker unit that can be separated into two speakers, but the two halves need to be connected by a retractable mini-USB cable to work. This is true even if you don't disconnect them (you still have to pull the cable out and plug it in to the port an inch away. The need to be connected by a short (~12-16") cord means the separability is pretty pointless. And the retractable cables add to the complication and fragility. I think a one-piece speaker would be better and simpler.
The sound is a bit thin, but I suppose that's to be expected given the size. I have no other portable speakers for comparison.
Pairing with my Iphone was very easy. -

Neat little speakerReviewed by ApolloExx from Wyoming on Saturday, August 2, 2014When I first got these I was surprised by the quality, you have a nice softtouch texture on the speakers that feel nice in the hand, also the portability of the speakers are amazing. it can easily fit in pockets, purses, ect. the fact that it is practically wireless is awesome. if you prefer not to use the Bluetooth, it has a built in, retractable 3.5 auxillary cable. Now for the speaker. I was blown away. The speakers at 4 ohms put out decent sound at crazy loud sound. sound quality is amazing, even at the highest sound input and Bass was actually great. all in all they blew expectations. I guess size doesn't matter after all.
